Well I finally got my CDT tweeters the TW/19 in my a-pillars. They sound great. Finally a set of titanium(metal) tweeters that are not spitty sounding. They have an extended response without being overly bright sounding. I know, I know, I'll take pics soon. So now I have them in my a-pillars in addition to the Koda Comp set in my doors. Where the Koda set leaves off frequency wise the CDT tweets pick up. Great sounding combo.
I'm glad that the CDT's worked out for you! I thought the same thing, in that they just fill the empty sound space. I'm looking forward to the pics!
Thanks. They sound great and thanks for the heads up. I even "painted" them black. Looks great. Now matches the a-pillars. The only thing I have to do is mount the attentuator ****. I don't want to cut anywhere in the car to do it, so perhaps I will have a place on the amp rack to mount the ****.
I took my ash tray out ,and mounted the attenuator in the ash tray frame. I can close the door, and you don't even know it's there, and if I ever sell the car, I can take it out, and put the ash tray back in. I like it there because it's convenient to change the settings for different music. Just an idea.
