1973 Coupe Radio
Hello all. I just picked up a nice 73 coupe with an aftermarket radio, equalizer & 4 speakers installed. A very old system and I'd like to upgrade. I do have a newly rebuilt stock radio and another that needs rebuilding. I also have a NOS bezel for turning the car back to stock. Not what I want to do now though.
What would be a good aftermarket straight out swap without butchering? CD player preferred or maybe go for an XM setup? I can probably use the speakers that are in the car but the equalizer will have to go. Does anyone even use them anymore?
The problem is there's no knowledgeable radio people nearby. I don't want to walk into a place like Circuit City blind. Keep in mind I'm a big believer in the K.I.S.S. principle.
