Messed Up C5 Sound System
My '99 FRC was in an accident late last year and I just got it back a couple of weeks ago. The passenger-side door was demolished. The repair shop got salvaged parts and in the bin was a set of Bose speakers (both doors and both rear). Unfortunately, my head unit and previous system was standard (non-Bose). Now I have absolutely no bass. Would my solution be to find a Bose head unit or is the wiring harness still wrong? I was considering ripping out all the Bose speakers and installing after-market, but that might not be the right solution either. I have been in other C5's with the Bose system and they sound just fine, I would be totally happy with a working system. Any suggestions? I'm making an appointment to take it back to the repair shop next week and I'd like to make an informed recommendation. Thanks in advance!
