Default Quick "XM" Satillite Radio Question

Can you use a "Roady" reciever in two differnt vehicles if you purchase a seperaate antenna such as ---> http://www.xmfanstore.com/showproduc...blitzsafemicro

And mount above anntena in the second vehicle, then just move the Roady unit and FM modulater between vehicles???

Basically to use one unit and account between a "work" car, and a "Vette", or other "Fun" vehicle?

I'm new to XM, and so far, I Love it

Yes, you can move it anywhere you want to as long as you have an antenna like you mentioned.
That's the benefit of having a portable devise. Only one subscription for multiple locations.

Yes. The roady has 3 connectors to disconnect:power, antenae, and audio out.

Thanks for the replies, That is what I wanted to hear!

XM does not seem to advertise the ability to move from vehicle to vehicle, can't say that I blame them! They wanted me to buy another unit and another subscription under the "family plan".

I will now have XM saillite radio in my "work truck" where I spend most of my days, and still be able to have it in my weekender

Since the vette is fiberglass the antenae shoul pick up from inside the car. Some have just put the antenae in the console.

Got the Blitz-safe micro antenna and I have mine mounted above the rear view mirror. Works great up there.

I can also recommend the XMPCR unit for your office/home use with a PC. I hooked mine up to some Klipsch speakers and it totally rocks. Ya gotta check these out if you need a similar solution:
