I thought about moving mine to that spot too. Did you have them somewhere else before? If so, how is the imaging in the door pulls compared to your old location?
Mine are currently located above the speaker on the kickpanel.

Noel...this is a good location for tweeters in the C5. I think we had this discussion somewhere else on the forum...lol. But you are partially incorrect about the much better image. Yes the tweeters will make the image appear to be higher on the car but the mids will still low to medium on the dashboard. Putting the tweet up high causes frequency seperation. This is where the frequencys from the tweeter will reach ears sooner than the mid frequencys. Optimum location for speakers is an equal distance from the persons ears. This is is called time alignement. In an automobile the kick panels are usually the best place for this. But as we all know in a C5 the kick panels are tight and the door speaker location is a bit blocked. I know this too well being 6'1" 290lbs...it is a surprise that anything is heard out of my drivers door....lol..especially the tweeter. So using the door pull is a good spot but not the best for max imaging.
