JVC Aresenal Installed with Soundgate
Tonight I installed my JVC Aresenal KD-300 200W MP3 Head unit, previously I had installed a JVC 12 disc MP3 changer, search my topics for that install and had it running the stock head unit through an RF modulator. I used the Soundgate GMCRV1 with the soundgate bass control taped in the max position. I think it sounds better than the factory head unit did. Everything works super nice and it looks great. The only thing I had to do to the car was bend back the metal receiving tab for the factory head unit for depth clearance and it ended up being a perfect back end support for the JVC unit. For the ground wires I unbolted the airbag module [just took the bolt out, box with BIG yellow connector on transmission tunnel] and used the GMCRV1 ground wires with attached ring connectors under the bolt. I ran the hot red wire under the carpet to the kickpanel fuse box. Easy as pie. Any questions post or email.....
