Default 5.1 system in C5 Hatchback

I'm getting it so that i will be able to listen to music dvds with dd/dts.
I want to get 4 6.75s and 1 smaller center speaker and 10" sub.

Which 6.75s do you recommand and is it really noticebly better with component then say 4ways? even if it was the most expensive badassest non-component speaker? cuz I was at best buy today and it was kinda hard to compare with all the noises around. The reason why they all have to be 6.75 is so that it follows the authentic home theater setup where they always have same sized speakers for front and surround.

Which center speaker should I get? I want to have it fit in the ash tray slot or is that even possible?

Also, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KZPEZPb...&avf=Y&search= vs http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp...noreRedirect=1 vs http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...986436,00.html. Whos the clear winner? Pioneer's got the mic that auto positions the speakers but it's also got the crappiest looking menus- soooo DOS like. Does anybody have any critic reviews for kenwood? Any big flaws on it?

...thanks for reading. Im a troll

The center channel depending on the head size(din, din and a half, etc) could fit the half din slot. Clarion makes one that will sandwich in there if you only have a din radio. Heard one today in a reps car and it sounded pretty good.

Modesst man....if you want excellent SQ go with a set of seperates. Coax just can't pull it off. I have installed many of the Pioneer AVHP7500 DVD's and one of the Kenwood model. Honestly....it is a very hard decision to say which on to go with. I personally own 2 of the Pioneers and have been very happy with them. But I was very impressed with the Kenwood. I would find a local retailer that carries both and check them out. Since you are looking at those two I would not look at the Panasonic. Now here is a little something that might sway your decision. I have one of my 7500s for sale. It came out of daily driver and is not going into my DD (I bought a 04 Silverado 3500 that has a nice factory radio in it so I am going to leave it alone). I have a complete 7500 in excellent condition with the original box and manuals that I will sell for 1000.00 shipped. Let me know if you are intersted...good luck on your install.

Vette, I will be getting kenwood 915 since it is the only one with the touchscreen nav. Pioneer you have to use the remote that comes with the nav unit i believe. So will this clarion center speaker fit in with the kenwood? it looks pretty darn slim like some fat free sandwich.
And rice, that is certainly a rock solid deal but since ill be gettin them for under 1500 from my dad's friend at hhgregg, ill pass up on that offer. But if i do get component, ones that place the tweezer in the center of the speaker, will i be able to put the cover back on the rear speaker slot? cuz since i got the commemorative edition with such a gentlemanly colored interior, i dont want any ricer or "pimped out" look on it.

Cool..Moddest....I know I won't sit on this radio long. But just so you know the Pioneer nav is touch screen also. Also both the Pioneer and the Kenwood require seperate add on navigation pieces.
