This cost more money to do but I have zero noise. I ran 0-guage ground back to the negitive post of the battery.

I ran 4 gauge to the passenger seat bolt and have zero engine noise. My system runs off an Optima yellow top installed in the drivers side rear storage compartment, so the power and ground runs to the amps are pretty short which also helps.

You can click on my sig and see a few install pics.

Good luck!

I used the passenger seat bolt for the amp I located behind the waterfall.

Passenger seat bolt with 4 gauge here too. No noise. Make sure you get a good connector that has a large mouth so you can really tighten it back up - dont want a safety issue on your hands.

I used dynamat to hold the wire in place while attaching the plastic interior panel.
