Alpine head unit with karoke on HUD
Has anyone seen the new Alpine head unit the will play a MP3 that has a bit stream attached with the songs words? A small digital scrolling display module mounts right under the HUD, and has a 2 second preceed that shows the words to the song. This lets the driver sees (without moving the eyes from the road) the words to a song and sing along learning the lyrics much quicker. MP3s are being encoded with the lyrics embedded within the file. The headunits also may be programmed with the scrolling lyrics shown on the front the the player.
