Default Custom System Suggestions and Comments

I'm just now getting more and more into stereo systems, Down below is the system I'm looking at installing. Let me know what you guys think. If you guys have different recommendations for things, please let me know. I'm looking for the best of the best for my baby. Also, do I need two amps for the two subs or will one (one channel) class D be fine?

Screen: 7" TFT LCD Touchscreen Display
Headunit: Clarion or Eclipse
Front: Focal 165K2P with Focal 100KP (Kinda like a 3way component set with two sets of tweeters)
Rear: Focal 165K2P
Subwoofers: (2) Pheonix Gold 12D2
Amps: Memphis Belle 16-MC1300D
Misc: Port for Laptop, Dynamat Xtreme, Front/Rear View Camera, CapBat, TV Tuner, Multi-Zone A/V Switcher

If you have other suggestions for things I need that I forgot to list please let me know

Focal...kick butt. If you are planning on doing nav with a indash monitor I highly suggest using the same company. The interface will work out alot better for you. Though I am a die hard fan of Phoenix Gold I just can not recommend their subs when there are other products out there for the same money or less that will do a better job. When it comes to subs I am a big JL fan...they have never let me down. Yes you can use one amp for the subs as long as you match the impedances. I have not used the Mephis amps but have heard good things.

The Focal's and the Memphis Belle are good choices. Which Belle are you planning to buy? Either one should power everything you listed with no problems. I have to agree with EatRice about the subs though. Phoenix Gold has had some great products, but lately it seems like they are going a little down hill. I also would go with the same brand headunit and nav system.

I'm looking to get the Memphis Belle 16-MC1300D amp. I already have the Pheonix Gold Xenon X12D2 Subs so... I guess I could sell them and get some JL's. Which kind of JL's, or Subs do you guys recommend? As for the Head Unit, I'm still partial to Clarion or Eclipse. I'm really leaning toward Eclipse though. The head unit will just be a single DIN unit. The actual screen will be a fixed unit and will not fold in. I'm still looking for a really good resolution LCD Monitor though.
