Bose radio/cd player problem
I have a 98 C5. It had the bose AM/FM/Tape player. When the car sat out in the sun and was hot inside the radio would not work (static only when turned on). The tape would play normally. I recently replaced it with the Bose AM/FM/CD player unit and thought that would cure the problem. It does the same thing, so it can't be the unit. When it sits out in the sun and is very hot in the passenger compartment the CD player plays OK, but the radio is just static. When it cools down everything is fine. Short in a wire somewhere? Antenna bad? Anybody have the same problem and know a sure fix? Thanks for any help.
