This works fine, however, you will need a least one cd in the player and it will be running all the time. Now if we can figure out how to fool the HU?

This solution was supplied as an alternative to devices like the PIE Adapter.

I don't have a changer but I want to wire my Ipod to the AUX input of the head unit. How do I enable the AUX input of the head unit? It won't switch to AUX unless a changer is connected...
Yes I could buy the PIE adapter but that would be too easy
