Default Does someone make a 12-Disc changer that
plugs almost directly into the original wiring harness that plays MP3's, or even a mp3 hard drive system?

not that I know of
the only route with the factory Bose system is to use an FM modulator.
Spend the extra few bucks and replace the crappy Blose system
