Rear view mirror help.
Are the old 97-01 rear view mirrors and newer auto dimming mirrors interchangeable? Can I retrofit a 02 dimming mirror in my 00 non dimming mirror.

Little different situation but...
On my 97 Dodge RAM truck I found the auto dim mirror is a junk yard. All I had to do was be sure to cut out the harness enough from the donor truck that I could wire it into mine. Just needed a power source and it works fine.
