I am going to be selling my 8W7's (one pair), but can't remember what I paid for them. I'm sure I didn't pay retail and most likely got them discounted since I bought them from a dealer with whom I've done business for many years. But, the guy is on vacation and none of his employees want to quote me a price because they know I normally deal directly with the proprietor. Anyone know what actual pricing on this is, or what it might be worth used?
yea that would never happen first of all those w7 need to be in a box second of all the magnet is way to big to fit in the door so your answer would be no
as for the value well they are used so depending on how much abuse they have been throuhg and wut the cosmetics are on it that will determine its value take a picture and email it to me at z06vette04@yahoo.com and also tell me how much abuse they have been through and i will tell you what the value is also if you are selling it i am interested in it ok just send me some pics and tell me how long you have used it for.
. . .i will tell you what the value is also if you are selling it i am interested in it. . .

As for pricing, I guess I should have been more specific. What I'm trying find out is what they typically sell for in a store, actual pricing as opposed to "suggested retail". I'm guessing I paid between $400 and $500 for the pair. And I am selling them to my friend for significantly less than that. I just don't want my friend to find them in some discount store a lot cheaper then to think I ripped him off. As these are used, I'm not trying to make money on these, just trying to make sure the deal is fair for both me and my friend.
my "wow" was due to the fact that JL Audio even makes 8W7s...
nothing more.
...I just wanted to see the pics...
Anyhoo, if I recall correctly, the 8W7's were introduced sometime after the rest of the W7 line. And now that I think of it, I believe I actually had to order them because the dealer didn't keep them in stock. All in all, they are a very good woofer, though. It's just time for me to make some changes.
