High Output Alternator...where do I get one!

Got my local Alternator shop to build me one! They could not upgrade the factory valeo, so they had to upgrade a delco cs 144 type alternator! I went with a 220 amp alternator, but the amps was too high for the car!! The car could not spin the alternator fast enough for a complete charge, so my volts would stay at around 11.5!! Dropped down to a 175 amp, and all is well!! You will have to get a bracket for a different alternator most likely, and I purchased that from alternatorparts.com! What I learned was, to not go real high with the amps on the alternator! They went with even the smallest pulley on the 220 amp, and the volts still was not enough to charge the car adequately! I would say under the 200 amp would be good!! I have a 1600 watt stereo system and all is well!!
