Default Subwoofer help

Here is the deal:
I currently have, for subwoofer, a JL250/1 powering a JL 10w3v2 in one of Mike's boxes.

I want to upgrade so I purchased one of Mike's boxes with mounts for dual 10's.

The way I figure, is that now all I need to do is upgrade the JL250/1 to a JL500/1 and I should be ok on power.

The question is this, which 10 inch subs do I get(I am happy with JL and not changing brands) and how do I wire them in? I don't understand the parellel/serial deal and how this affects things.

I understand what serial/parellel is, I just don't understand how to wire two identical subs for the box that I have.

first, If you want some serious punch, get some 10W6s or 10W7s.

But them are expensive. and you have to take volume requirements into consideration.

And you would need more like a 1000/1 to drive both of those monsters.

When you get the subs, JL includes in their instructions, the best wiring methods needed.

Will the 10w6's go into Mike's drop in box? I know it they would fit, but what about the air movement?
