Delco-Bose Repair Alternative
New to the Corvette Brotherhood (Just bought a 94 w/35k in WayGood shape from brother-in law for $12k) but the CD player was fried. Thought of Dr Don's but after reading the forum opinion of OEM audio, searched around to find any cheaper alternatives. For $100 it looked pretty good next to the Good Dr's $150. Got the unit back in last week, and it sounds fine-1 yr warranty taped to the top of the unit so even I can't lose it. Couldn't justify putting alot of $$ in the OEM unit and don't have the big $$ to do an aftermarket system right, so was very happy with this alternative and thought I'd share my find with the growing minority who are content with an OEM unit-hey remember everyone pulling OEM Wonder Bar radios that would give their eye-teeth to get them back? BTW, this forum is GREAT-Thanks to all who take the time and energy to help the hobby!

I know that Dr Don's repair is also an upgrade... it will no read CDRs.
