Default HELP!!! Running Door Speaker Wires

I am mid-install and tried running the component speaker wire from the door into the cabin. I can run it through the door, through the rubber bridge but can't get it to come through into the cockpit. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

THX!

The door jamb is double walled. There is a plastic panel on the wall that is inside the cabin. The door jamb boot is on the outer wall. I assume you have the sill panel removed (the long plastic panel that is on the floor of your car in the door jamb) sit on the ground in your door opening. Place your hand in the kick panel area...while touching the door jamb area reach uppewards till you touch a piece of plastic with wires coming through it. It is rectangular. You can pop that out and then you will be able to get your wires into the passenger cabin. I drill a hole in that plastic..run the wires through the hole in the plastic and then re insert the plastic panel. I hope you can understand all this..sort of tough to explain.

no man, very clear...I've become very intimate with the bare interior and underdash....just put down the frost king insulation all over front to back....I know the piece you're talking about....it's rectangular, about 4 inches by 3 with wire going through the center....I should be ok...I just didn't want to start cutting anything until I was sure....thanks a whole helluva lot.

there is a lot of room up in the door gromment and can fit any wire you would want to through there. The C5 doors are very nice to us car audiophiles
