Alpine/factory changer question............
Could you guys please tell me if a factory CD changer will work/hook up to an Alpine 7894 head unit, and if it's hard to do? Thanks!

BTW, I was interested in the Alpine harddrive MP3 player. Stereo shop guy called Alpine...discontinued. They are going Ipod for everything. I bought their Ipod interface, $100, works great. Plug in the Ipod and Alpine HU recognizes it as a changer. Can select by artist, album or playlist. Charges the Ipod while playing. I had them install the wire in my center console. If you have an Ipod or are thinking about getting one, I think this is a better deal than limiting yourself to 6 or 12 CDs. IMO. I have about 2000 songs on it and have barely dented the 40 gig drive.
