Default Sunvisor monitors

Just wondering if anyone has done the sunvisors with monitors, and if so what kind you used. Any pics would be great. I have been talking with Eatrice about doing some work for me and was just wondering what other people have done.

Curious, why would you put monitors in your visor? Would it be for your passenger to watch tv? if so that would be illegal and cops would be able to see that from a mile away. If it was for a rearview camera, i think it would be a little annoying to have that monitor shining in your face. it may be dangerous at night. i.m.h.o. i think you'd be better off getting a monitor installed where the radio is now.

I have a pop out now in the dash for my dvd changer, and a 6.5 inch monitor in place of my rear view mirror for my rear view camera. I just wanted to add the sunvisor monitors so I could have all 4 monitors showing a dvd at shows. Just for show purposes only.

xenarc monitors are great because they are really robust and bright, but you'll save a lot if you go with lilliput monitors. That's if you want something that isn't prefabbed

There are a ton of prefab replacement sunvisor monitors out there right now, usually running anywhere from 170-250 for a pair. They only come in a few basic colors, and usually only one material type (pleather), but they are a really easy plug in and play replacement if you dont want to hack on your original mirrors. Here is a good example of one here on ebay : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7939158037

Ive never actually seen this brand work, but im sure most of these little LCD screens that originate in china probably all come from the same manufacturer, of course, with various grades of screen quality. But I take it from your message you are doing this for the show aspect, so perfect picture isnt proabably your goal.

fyi... I've read somewhere that most lcd monitors in the sub $800 range have used screens, also most companies except for xenarc will allow up to 3 dead pixels (some brands are even higher) before they will issue a replacement. Xenarc is the only company that i know of that has a 0 dead pixel policy.

Yea I dont want none of those already made up ones they look cheap, I have an extra pair of C5 ones coming this week so I can do some exploring on them to see how they are put together before I tear up the ones that are in my car now. I want something custom. I am going to make something myself out of the stock c5 visors and I will post pics when I am done.
