Default Removing carpet question(C5)

I need to remove all the carpet in the rear of a coupe, what is the best way to get it out and do I have to remove any of the plastic panels? Thanks!

You will need to remove the three cubby hole covers, the two top holders, and the panels at the rear of the hatch. The top holders are just twist in...a quater turn will let you pull them up but I can not remember which direction. The rear panels have two hold downs in the corners. Those thread on and you can just twist them off without any tools. Then you can pop the rear panels out. It is just a hair tricky getting them over the spring loaded top hold downs. Also you will need to disconnect the lights..pull plug. It is alot easier when you are doing it. Should have it all out in 10 minutes or so.
