C5 10 disc cd changer question
I am considering purchasing and installing an OE GM cd changer in my 2000 coupe. Is this a simple task? I understand you need to run the cable for it, is there more to it. Thanks.

if it's for a C5 corvette it will be a 12 disk changer.
be sure to buy the factory CD changer install kit (you can either get it from Fitchner, or fred beans on the forum, OR from your local chevy dealer) it has the cable and changer mounting brackets.
it's a very easy install, the only difficult part is locating the two plugs for the changer harness that are located in the passenger side footwell.
