Bose Radio Hu Question???....help
i have a hu out of my vert and am going to attempt to install blue led's on the circuit board....the question is what 2 wires on the back of the hu are the correct ones to illuminate the lamps inside the hu....i know i could just plug it back in the harness but i need to sort of bench test it and make sure the lights are working before i put the whole radio back together and install it back in to the car...seems like i heard somewhere that it cant be done?...something about the radio being powered by the bcm or something????....can anybody help me on this one??...thanks in advance

The BCM tells the radio to turn on and to turn the lights on inside the radio. There is no illumination wire behind the radio that I am aware of. Please let us know if you pull it off. I am going to change the LEDs in my AC controls one of these days. Everything else is already done.
