Did you ever find a box? Ive had my 10w7 for a long time now and still havent installed it. All the car places down here are CRAZY on their prices. I may just try to build my own out of fiberglass. This is the one i want.
I talked to Steve from Subthump.com a couple of days ago, and he is making W7 boxes now for vettes. Might want to at least shoot him an email on your project.
Two emails to Subthump.com in the past week with no response.
That's cuz he's working on my box.
Though I wish I'd known about him starting up on W7 boxes. I'm sure this W6-V2-D4 that I have will be more than enough for my needs, but still. Ain't it just the coolest to have the best?
Seriously, give Steve a chance. He's been real helpful with me and I also know he's very busy. Especially if he's starting production on a new design. Just call him up (number's on their website). He'll help ya out.
Yep, steve is a busy boy. He hasnt emailed me either in a few days, which is unusual - so he's not ignoring you. He literally cant keep up with demand from us corvette freaks.
has anyone got a email form Steve? I dont want to send him a email if he is busy

I just got a 10w7 box from SubThump. I like the work, very well done but he used 5/8" mdf. I am going to spray it with bedliner after I brace it. For the price I am happy.
JL reccommends 1.25 for it. and its sealed range is 1.00 - 1.375 cu. ft Is there going to be much of a difference in sound?
I don't think you'll notice a huge difference really. The cabin of the car is so small and the gain is large anyway. I've had 10w7s in boxes as small as .6 cu.ft and they still sounded good without distortion even at higher volumes.
