1/8 Scale Knock Offs?
I am building the 1/8 scale Revell '65 coupe to match my 1 to 1 car and want to know if anyone has seen 1/8 scale knock offs either from another kit or from aftermarket. If I cant find them I'll just have to put steel wheels and hubcaps on the real car to match the model!

The only 1/18 scale that I am aware of even close would be the '67 Monogram kit wheels (albeit non-knock-off's) or the '67 Franklin Mint 1/8 cars (again, non-knock-off's).
You would have to come up with, or scratch build chrome plated 1/8 scale spinners and glue them to the '67 caps to mimic the knock-off's.

Can you imagine what a 1/8 FM would cost?
As far as the Monogram 1/8 kits go, they've reissued the '65 kit a million times, the latest under the Revell name of course. I've written to Revell many, many times asking them to reissue the '78 kit, which they've never done. It's really hard to find one anymore with usable pace car decals. I can only speculate it has something to do with the Indy licensing. I never could understand why the issued the kit molded in orange, which wasn't a factory '78 color. Although 1/8 model kits have limited appeal, I bet they'd fly off the shelves if they reissued the '78 kit with a pace car on the box front.

Burning Brakes
I have a 1/8 scale Monogram 65 Corvette collecting dust in the basement, still in original box which is not in very good shape but I believe all the parts are still there, will check to see what it has for wheels,if anyone is interested it can be had at a terrific price (just the mailing cost), send me a PM or email to pologreen96vette@aol.com. Knock off wheels
I'll soon have kock offs available. I've developed 3D CAD files of the 63-66 Kelsey Hayes wheel, cone and spinner - one direction spinner only at this time. I had a 3D print made and am in the process of fine sanding the surface, then making a mold with subsequent multiple castings. I'd include images but have not yet found how to load images to this site.
This leaves email as an option. Mine is EdKoz1@optonline.net. If you provide yours I'll send some pics of the actual wheel and cone and spinner images from my 3D files.

Knock off wheels.
No, I generated those wheels as 3D computer files, then had them 3D printed. As for the convertible, I built that back when you and I were in contact. I may have sent a picture at that time.

Another option if you can get spinners made is to use the wheels from the 1/8 Monogram 82 Collector Edition. They won't be exact but close enough.

1/8th scale knock offs
I'm developing a set in a 3D CAD from which 3D prints are made, then used as a master for resin casting copies. Many difficulties in getting a quality print and and proper part surface finish. My model time is limited due to 1:1 life. Will post if/when I conclude with good quality parts. I can be reached at 631 383 9415 by phone or text.
