Default Danbury Mint

Any other sources for them other than from Danbury Mint, Phillymint or E-bay?

Just one answer so guess that's it for sources.

Pay full retail at Danbury Mint or:

About $50 more for the same car at PhillyMint. Why?

I'm finding Ebay my best source for those I need to fill in the gaps in my collection.

Franklin Mint retailers are everywhere you look. Was just wishing for more sources for Danbury Mint!

I need the DM 1953 and the DM Purple People Eater to complete my collection of all the available 1/24th scale DM.

Mint Models doesn't have DM just FM. Michelle hopes to get DM but so far no go.

PhillyMint is just a retailer that sells many different mfgs diecast. I just don't like that he marks everything up so.

DM stuff rocks!

I have 27 Danbury Corvettes in 1/24th. Not sure how many there are total, they keep coming out with new ones.

DM currently makes 43 corvettes in 1/24th scale. 3 of those are pre- production orders. I'm missing 2.

FM makes 70 corvettes in 1/24th scale. 1 pre-production on order so I'm missing 12.

Guess that makes 99 corvettes in 1/24th scale with about 40 more corvettes in 1/18th scale by many mfgs.

They fill up 4 custom displays. I find it lots of fun.

Danbury Mint does not use dealers or distributors. They do not need to since the product is so good in all classes of diecast.

The only other alternative is Ebay or flea markets, yard sales and so on.

And by the way, I just got Danbury's latest corvette...Owings/Corning racer.

Detail is better than Exoto, on par with CMC but in most cases, surpasses them both!

Pictures later.
