2002 Eb Z06
I just bought my new vette and would like to have a diecast to match. Does anyone know if there is a copy made by any of the manufacturers? If you have one could you post a pic or a link to one.
I plan to buy the same car (1:1 and 1:18). I figured the die cast would keep me motivated.
Anyway, they do exist. I bought one on ebay but the seller screwed me. They are made by Maisto (1:18) and hard to find, but the 1:24 versions are all over ebay.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will look on ebay for them. How does your diecast look? Is it like any other Maisto? Not that I really need all the detail as most of my diecast are still in the packages on top of the entertainment center in my computer room.
The Maisto's were kind of rare to start with as in the beginning they were a Target stores exclusive with a limmited number produced. I sold one on here for $75 when they first came out. Then Maisto made a second run of them and the price plummeted. I saw one on e-bay a week ago or so,might be the only place to find them now.

I have six EB Maisto Z06 NIB. Collected them when Target was the exclusive distributor. If you need one, let me know.

You might check Sam's Club if you have one in your area. When i was at mine a couple of weeks ago they had the Electron Blue ZO6 on the skid for $10.96. I was shocked to see one there but I already have one so I didn't pick it up.
Ertl also did E.Blue ZO6 and they are somewhat better than the Maisto's but I think there was some that thought the color was off a little. I could not tell, but they looked close to me.Here is one on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ERTL-1-18-2003-C...QQcmdZViewItem

Ed, Good to hear from you. No, I never came across one just yet. If they have them in Crossville, please pick me one up. I will come get it this weekend, pay you and take you to lunch.

Ha!! I have a red 96 that I bought and tore apart and painted it to match my black 96. The actual car has been gone for around 5 years or so and the diecast has never been reassembled. If they do not have the blue, don't worry about it. I would probably wind up doing the same thing with a Z06.
