Diecast case Problem
Got my 4th case 2' x 2' 12 compartment which was Giovanni Plastics but now bought out by Carney Plastic. When I close the lid it is not tight it bows out when you place the pins in. Now even when not pinned it is bowed out Guess I'll call them Wednesday

You might try removing the pins from the top and flipping the lid over. I have had this same thing happen to some of my cases....
If you have another one that fits, check to see how the hinges are on the lid(cover). Let us know how it works out. I have around twenty of those cases.

Won't that leave the cover spaced out if I flip it? New case has two hinge top and bottom. The earlier ones had one hinge on the bottom. Thanks! Some collection let's see more!

Two hinges on the bottom? That is new to me. When they were still Giovanni I called them to complain about the hinges. I think that the door is the weakest part of the case. Surely they could come up with a better design. I did receive one from Giovanni and the box was perfect. I opened it up and the case was in many parts. They were great to deal with and sent me a replacement right away. Hopefully they will be able to get you a new door soon.
I do need to take some different pics. I am a newbie at taking pictures and need some with better lighting. Be sure to post some pics of your collection as well.

I called them today and they were very nice and will send a new one as soon as they get this one bad. They pay all shipping. It is still a PITA as I wanted to get the cars awayand clean my office for the new year.

none really around close. I offered to UPS it they said they have a FEDEX agreement to pick it up. Didn't come today now FEDCRAP said tomorrow as they had them call. Second problem is the have no cases in stock They said soon what ever that means I ask for one to be shipped and then credit when they get the return but none to send me. PITA
Real kick in the *** fedcarp truck blew the horn today so I though he was coming. I run out in the street waving my arms and he nails it and zooms away!

The saga has ended. When I called to get it returned I gave them the address to pick it up at. They went to the place it was shipped which is closer to them. Then they wanted to charge me to pick it up as they went to the wrong address. They had none in stock so I said F it I'll hang it up and tape it closed. I set it in a swivel chair and was ready to hang it. The dogs barked and Jake 80 lb. runs by the chair and knocks it down. End of story as it now shatter. I then placed it on the florr and jumped on it with two feet. I figured I'd get something for my money and that was my last opition.
Sorry to hear about that! I hope the new one goes alot better. I have dropped one from about 4 feet high and thought for sure that it was a goner, but it survived.
