I really like the Sunray DX 1968 Car from Daytona 24HR and Sebring 12HR. Who did that for you. I also noticed the rare Spark 1/43 model of Ron Fellows Sebring 2007 entry in white.
Super nice collection !!!
I would love to have that Sunray DX car to go with my FIA Corvette collection.

Hi

Thanks.

The Sunray DX #3 is the Sebring 1968 Car, it's 1/43 scale RESIN and came built. cost me $200. It's made handbuilt in England by Mid Atlantic Models/Illustra.

They were going to make this car in 1/18 for Carousel but they are now apparently going out business or waiting for re-investment,I have their other L-88's. really Nice.

the #8 67 Car is 1/18 by Exoto, Motorbox Gold Label. Cost me $160. Item#MTB0077 This one is harder to find, due to the fact it came with major defects. Mine had (but the least) hence the price. It has white speck on hood stinger and on roof, and right side above door, drivers names faded. If you find the #8 DX on Ebay or Anywhere, Buy it! They are hard to find especially with Less Defects(the factory in Dubai, made the Mistake of Shipping the cars with Wet Paint, paper sticking to them! .Anyways, I have the #9 that ran at Le Mans too in 1/18 by Exoto. (remember the Le Mans Car is not related to the #8 despite Dx sponsor-the #9 was also sponsored by Botany500) the Exoto #9 lemans car has the Wrong Interior as do the Sunoco Vettes(the only accurate is the DX #8,Red interior on all Exoto L88 Cars!)

The Two Tone Grand Sport are 2 Customs Made for me, Of the wintersteen 65' Sebring #2 car. (as it raced, not restored) Exoto has had their wintersteen non-numbered car on preorder forever.

Yes. I'm familiar with everything you are saying about the Exoto and Carousel cars. I have nearly all of them too. I was really hoping we would see a Carousel Sunray DX car and a AIR car. We can only hope...they are nearly correct, and a good value. I passed on the 66'
Coupe Exoto cars because they have too many errors as you say.

I have a lot of GT1/GTS Ferrari's and Astons to go with my Vettes. I've had to buy the 1/43 versions too, because many 1/18 cars never materialized....or were never made of the LeMans entries. I've bought models on Ebay from all over Europe because they are so hard to get here [Romania, Ukraine, Greece], I'm sure you know what I mean. I just got a few of the FIA GT1 cars a few weeks ago. For example. I'm really looking for a MG Models [Italy] of the GT1 winning Ferrari 550Gt LeMans 2003 in 1/18 scale... I have it in 1/43 from BBR. I really hope Spark starts doing all the GT3 cars too. Minichamps is starting to do the Audi R8 LMS cars. I even have a few Saleen S7R's. I won't buy the Ixo cars because of the errors.
The Minichamps/Spark dealer for North America is just 2 miles from us in Miami ,but it's hard to convince them to import the Corvette models.
Your collection is awesome.........you and I seem to have a lot of the same interests.

Hi,

The 3 LE Mans Corvettes(there is no Camoradi yet) and the 1981 Greenwood #81 are made in ITALY, TOP GOLD MODELS ,They are on ebay as 1/43 corvette in search. they are $50 usd each minus the s/h through a dealer in the U.S. they are going to make more Corvettes!

there is also a "presentation car" Plain red 60' Corvette w/halibrand wheels.

nothing opens on these small yet beautiful cars which have much detail for it's price range despite being made of Resin not Diecast. cars are very nice, the trunk has a small almost sticker like decal(modern c5 corvette-inaccurate) other than that, the tires have firestone on them and the headlights are painted different colors just like the Le Mans Cars back in 60' .
Now if we can only Get The Camoradi(Non-Factory -Non Cunningham) #4 Le Mans Car which also later ran at le Mans, there is an expensive built of it.

BTW, There will be Scarabs in Cheap Resin Built 1/43 Coming Soon!!! *by another company* same one that makes 1/43 Cheetahs.

Which makes me mad sorta since I brought an Expensive English Built! of the Nickey Nouse.
