I recently won a bid on eBay for a 93 Brugandy ZR-1 40th anniversary car. I was OK with the price. Now is when the fun begins. With litigation prevelant at every turn I will only state facts. You guys decide for yourselves whether to deal with these folks or not.
April 12. Received notice via e-mail that I had won the auction and was given an invoice number to refer to by the seller. Gails Gifts in Allentown PA.
Wrote out and mailed check that afternoon.
April 17. Check clears bank.
April 29. I go through information and get the phone number of Gails Gifts to have a little chat with them. A little kid answers the phone. 'Gail' gets on the line and advises me that the car was just sent out.
May 1. I don't have the car yet so I call 'Gail' again. Yes the car was "recently shipped" priority. I asked what "recently" means. She told me Saturday, April 27th.
May 4th. The box is on the porch and I'm happy that it has arrived. I notice that the postage is dated May 2nd. OK, now I'm pi$$ed because this has taken way too long and she lied on top of that.
As I said, with lawyers at every corner I will hold opinion to myself, her and eBay. Maybe I caught them during a bad week but...you decide.
Just leave appropriate feedback stating your dissatisfaction with slow shipping. Ebay will do nothing about this as you did receive the item purchased. Just let it go and don't shop from them again. :seeya
