Default Diecast Rollback

This rollback both slides and tilts. The rear frame was built from the ground up from scale I-beams and rectangular plastic. The auto dolly is made from steel square tube and solid steel 1/2 inch square rod. The end of the square rod was cut out to accomodate the 1/4 inch alum. square tube cross bar. This is the first rollback that is made with the correct scale diamond plate plastic. This bed is 13 inches instead of the standard 12. The storage boxes were made from one block of wood and a space was cut between them to simulate the look of two boxes. The boxes are covered with the same plastic diamond plate.
Made by Andy Roderick.

How much is that?

Check that. How much is that with a Chevy HD Duramax instead of that weak dick ram truck under the sliding bed?

OR, better yet. How much is that with a GMC Topkick quad cab with caterpillar engine, airride seat and 7 speed trans?

Of course you know I'm a big Dodge fan, LOL. However, the guy who made the rollback bleeds Chevy like you. The Ram pickup is less than half the cost of the Chevy. That's why he uses the diecast Ram. A Chevy rollback in 1:18 woul probably be around $200. The Chevy diecast pickups are sky high in price.

Would he be willing to take orders? I'd love a rollback to display my "Special" pieces.

I'm sure Andy would be happy to take custom orders. It's a labor of love building these rollbacks however they take many hours to make and the finished product is not cheap but well worth the investment. There is a guy in Germany that has purchased many of Andy's creations and loves them. You can reach Andy by email:

BTW, Andy drives a hot looking Z06 and lives near the Corvette Plant.

Tell him Viperguy sent you, LOL.

Give Andy a call: 270-303-2216. I spoke with him and he would be glad to talk about it.
