Corvette Model Kit Collection
I have approximately 100 Corvette models kits from the sixties, seventies and eighties. Most are 1/25 scale AMT, and Monogram with a few other brands mixed in. Some of the early cars are built and some un built, As they get newer most all are un built. Also in this collection is the big 65 coupe , red, un built, big 67 coupe, big 86 red coupe un built (started) unbuilt, some rare kits and some common. There are also 2 large (1/18 53 to 55 Corvettes in pieces) I will be putting together a detailed list by kit number, describing kit as built or un built, box etc. I'd prefer to sell as one lot for highest price and avoid the hassle of single kit sales and shipping. Any ideas on value? Would 2K for the lot be fair? Any interest? Rich jcmsp062@aol.com

Best idea would be compair them to ones you find on such sites as ebay. Find the same or similar model. However, don't be fooled on those outragious asking prices, but look at the ones that are actually selling. You can ask as much as you want. But selling and asking are definetly two different things. Now, as for your collection, without knowing all 100 or so models, some have value to them, but most of the 1/24 or 1/25 are usually around 5 to 10 dollars. Might be a hard sell for the lot, hope this helps you a little and good luck with your sale.

last collection I bought of models went in with a friend to buy them. We averaged $5 each kit but the collection was over 3000 model cars. I only wanted a few for my self and it took over 4 years and 8 model car shows to sell my 1/2. I wont buy a large collection like that again.
