Looking for a display case ...
I have a little over 100 1/18 scale cars. I was looking for something that i could display them in so that the sides of the cars are facing me. I hate to just get some kind of curio cabinet. I made my last one but left that attached to the wall at the old house. Anyboby know where i can find something like this ?

I just picked a couple of these units up from Ikea last night for $39 a piece. The doors, sides and shelves are glass. I just got this one together and haven't had a chance to mount it...just threw the cars in for photo purposes.:)

Here are the new cases mounted. I went from nothing in May when I read a post in this forum that tickled my interest to this. My wife just rolls her eyes when the UPS guy shows up at the door :rolleyes:

Check out my cases. This the best thing I could find. I have them cram packed full. Im going to buy another one. These came from a Wal-Mart. They are old nintendo cases. I paid 125.00 apiece. They have a ligth inside and room at the bottom to hold some boxes. You might chekc with and local Kmarts as well for something like this. The cases match my corvette room which is blk and silver. Hope this helps.
