Hi everyone, do any one of you know if a 1966 stingray coupe scale model is available and if so could you point me in the right direction where I may buy one? I can find a 1965 model, would there be many differences? Many thanks to those who reply!

Hi Mel,
There is a rare Danbury Mint 1966 coupe in Laguna Blue with Bright Blue interior with blackwalls & hubcaps and a 427 under the hood. When you find one, it won't be cheap. There are a few Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint 1965 and 1967 coupe models (the only model manufacturers that I own due to the quality of their collectable models vs. "toys" made by most of the other manufacturers) which look basically the same as a 1966. The 1965 is Nassau Blue with a white interior and the 1967 is Sunfire Yellow with a black interior. Both models are made by Danbury Mint and have knock-off or bolt-on wheels (not hub caps). They are very nice models that can be purchased for about $150 each on ebay when they go up for auction. The 1966 coupe will probably cost $50 to $100 more if you can find one. I own over 30 models including a 1966, but it's a convertible in Mosport Green. I also own the Sunfire Yellow coupe which is a very nice model. If you need additional help, feel free to send me a PM.
