The painted cove was optional until 62 but many 61 and earlier Vettes were solid painted with no different color cove. I've been told that most didn't come with painted coves from the facotry and were painted later. :cheers:

No painted cove option in 62.
Since we're in the diecast section. The 50th red 62 is incorrect with a painted cove as is the white with blue cove 62 American Grafitti car.

There were many more, 65%, unpainted cove cars in 61.

Thanks! It's not perfect, but then again it wasn't made in China either :lol: You gave me the inspiration to do a wheel swap. I'm going to put the chrome wheels from the UT yellow coupe on a UT yellow vert. BTW, did you get the pics of my 1/8 96 Grand Sport?
