Default wtb magazine

hello, I am new here but a Vette owner for many many years, I am looking for a magazine "Vette Power" , not sure of year . its late 70s to early 80s, the cover has a Black custom 69 vette with flames, inside the front grill it says" Fire at Will". I located the mag online at angelfire.com but I could not get into the site, any help is greatly appreciated. I have the car for many years and started to strip the flames off because they used to much clear back in the day,

thanks,
john

I guess it wasn’t that important.

Maybe the OP will log in again some day.

So, John..... YOU have that 'Vette??

Can you restore it without changing the original finish?

yes , I have THAT vette, since early 80's. I don't think I will restore that flames, they would be way to much money. I used to drive it daily longtime ago. no accidents with it. its been on jacks in garage for last 20 yrs.
I am very interested in buying the magazine.

I am sure you know about that car's history/value more than anyone else...... It would be cool to have the magazine to go with the 'Vette......

But other than the car being on a magazine cover, I assume it has no historical or collectable value?

I think , or feel the history of the car should be kept alive. Meaning, I feel restor it. Yes, as you said the cost. But , it's only money, you can't take it with you. I think the paint jobs, ( show cars ) are comming to life a little. I feel there is interest in doing things like this. Just look at " hemi under glass", that's been restored how many times. Worth looking in to. Good looking Vett. Go 4 it.

I know of a number of customs from the 70s that have been restored to their glory days. They look fantastic, especially when you have the magazine. So era correct, I think the value would be worth the Restoration, I really do. No intrinsic value at all, none, if it just becomes another old C3. Not quite as cool if you take the flames off. There’s lots of custom painters that can fix those flames, they are relatively straightforward.
