Has anyone ever had any success in obtaining a diecast from Exoticar? So far I'm batting oh for two. First order back in July, the "pitcrew" informed me item was out of stock and they would send it within a few weeks. Nada :( So this time around I send an email to the "pitcrew" to see if the car is in stock prior to ordering. Several days and not even a response...is this typical
I gave up on them a while ago when one of there sales people got smart with me. try http://www.sportcraftcars.com They are very nice are great to do business with.
Exoticar is probably one of the worst places to deal with , unless you actually go to one of their stores. They almost never have what you want in stock, prices are a bit high on some stuff & don't even get me started on their shipping policy.
Their catalog is nice to look at, but I only ordered from them once, won't be again. I ordered six cars and they shipped them in four different shipments all within a few days of each other. I got nailed on the shipping and handling. This seems to be a common practice of theirs.

Re: Exoticar (Redmenace)
I recently ordered two cars for my B/F for his birthday and had no problem, whatsoever. They arrived in a timely fashion and I didn't have any headache with ordering them online.
My problem has been with diecastmuscle.com...ordered a car that doesn't exist yet, even though they have it listed, and was told the car was now on pre-order. When I asked for a date of arrival, the person I spoke with couldn't tell me..so I gave up and ordered from exoticar.com.
I've had some problems with diecastmuscle recently too. I ordered the 2001 AUTOart C5-Rs that they showed instock, only to find out that they were preorders. This was in the Spring, and the #64 is still on preorder even though they've been out since at least Bloomington Gold in June. They seem to have the best prices around on most stuff though.
