Hi, I ordered a 2003 Corvette 1/18th pace........I now have the 78 pace, 95 pace, 98 pace, 2001 pace...But does anyone know where I can get the 86 pace at a reasonable price?

 

They have never been done in 1:18 scale Franklin mint did one in 1:24 but no where near as nice as the 1:18's are and a lot more money. I have seen some done by Majorette but I beleive those are 1:24 also.

If everthing goes as planned this coming week we will be announcing the offering of the 86 Pace Car in Yellow as the first in a series of limited edtion issues. We have already submitted all items needed to Ertl for licensing, etc. and are working out final details.

These will be a 2500 run with each item serialized and in special packaging.
We want to keep the run of each of the issues to only the 2500 for collectibility reasons.
The packaging we are looking at is the enclosed, foam encased with printed outer cover. This will help insure the item from receiving damage in shipping and also make for a more profound look than the Toy looking clear plastic and cardboard marketing boxes.

Retail pricing we are shooting for is $40.00 and will be no higher than the $50.00 mark . This is harder than you think to do because of limited run, special packaging, and the fact we have to pay Ertl for the complete convertible mold ourself.

We hope to be able to offer the first issue in May.

We will try to cover at least five of the colors available that year and are going to be asking for input as to these other colors.

When we get sign all agreements on this item we will be polling this board as to the remaining colors we should do. I have come to respect your opinions and input on this board more than any of the others I frequent.
