Well, I can verify beyond a shadow of a doubt that there ARE two different shades of green. The reason I can verify that is because I have both of them. One is the forest green looking metalic paint, which by the way is absolutely stunning. The other is a Glen green looking color that is flat similar to the red '65 Maisto. I wanted to have the glen green one, but the metalic forest green is 10x better. I plan to buy a couple more. I hope this helps.
I have both of them also and here is a link to what the lighter one looks like. I got mine at Sam's for $9.96 last weekend. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=47188
Now which one is closer to the real Glen Green Corvette put on the 65's?
Thanks guys, I guess that confirms that there are really two shades out. I'm not sure which one is closest to authentic Glen Green, but the darker, metallic one appeals to me more. It might be the lighting, but the auction photo of the lighter one looks more toyish.
