Need ideas for paint
I scored two 1/8 scale '85 Corvettes on ebay. One I intend to build completely stock, White with a red interior or black with red. The second one I want to do something different. I am thinking GS paint scheme, but I thought I'd ask the forum. I'll be limited to spray cans so keep that in mind. Candy tangerine? Candy purple? Fade from one color to another? I am open to suggestion. THANKS !!

The colors you choose are ultimately up to you, but you could do it in the regular GS blue/white. A couple of years ago, I converted a Monogram 1/8 '85 kit to a '96, and built it as a Grand Sport. I even had the A-mold GS wheels custom made in resin.
Whatever colors you choose, you can get a great finish using spray cans. I've been model building for 30 years, never used an airbrush, and I've had some great looking models, both plastic and diecast.
