Carbotech XP8 Pads for StopTech ST-40 Caliper
I have a set of Carbotech XP8 Brake Pads for the StopTech ST-40 Caliper. They were used on the rear of my 2010 GS for a few track days. I believe the pad material starts at 17 or 18 mm thick when new. Worked well when I ran street tires (Michelin PSS). No longer needed as I run r-comps now.
These have about 11 mm left on them so about 60-65% of material left.
Exact ones found here: http://ampdautosport.com/product/ct6...pound-name=xp8

A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200ºF-1250ºF+ (93ºC to 676ºC+). Carbotech™ XP8™ is the first of our racing compounds. Good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotech™ does NOT recommended XP8™ as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotech™ XP8™ is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers.
