Anyone using a quick release on their aftermarket steering wheel? I know Sparco makes one that's $299 and have also saw one from Smart Racing Products at $219. Any experiences or suggestions? A whole bunch of no-name ones are on ebay for < $100 but am leary of those. Thanks.
Wilwood makes one for $25, Summit has a nice one for $70.
I run the Summit with a Sweet Mfg FLAT 13" wheel which aint fancy but turns the car just fine. cost about $60
So with the $250 I didn't spend on the wheel, the $150 I didn't spend on the Momo adapter, and the $230 I saved on the Qiuick Release Hub, I bought something that made my car go faster, turn faster of stop quicker, but then again, it's a racecar, I don't have it valet'd at the country club.
The only people I impress are the ones that cuss me as I pass them, again and again.
