Default Offset trailing arms

Wondering if anyone is using the offset trailing arms for autocrossing/roadracing. I'd like to switch out the stock arms and put some larger tires on. Also i understand that you have to switch to a shorter spring if you use 15" rims. That may not be the case if your using 16"-17" rims.

Got hooked at E town last weekend, what a blast that was, and you really learn alot on how your vette handles...

Not running offset TA's, with 16x11 wheels with 275/45's. Offset arms will put you into SM2, but with your heads and cam you are there anyway. I say don't bother unless you need to replace rusted out TA's or replace bearings anyway.

"switch to a shorter spring"...............Well, yes......but that means that the transverse LEAF spring doesn't stick out as far past the spring hanger:-) You can grind it down. However, no use to do this on any STREET car. This rev is for RACE cars and tires.

I'm using a composite spring now from VBP..360lbs...no grinding there, will have to order a shorter length one. The offset arms allow larger wheels and tires, I'm concerned about how close I will come to the shocks when switching to a larger wheel and tire currently have 15"x8" TTII's and 255/60R15 with 3.75"bs. Planning on switching to 15"x9.5 or 10" with 5.5"bs and 275/50R15 tires ....
