Default Front swaybar contacting a-arm

I have a full T1 set-up and find that the front swaybar always ends up contacting the drivers side a-arm in spite of having clearance before a run. It just shifts sideways in the bushings until it contacts the a-arm. Any ideas how to prevent this?

You can put some collars on the swaybar to keep it for moving side to side. I used hose clamps. That's all I had at the time.

you need to disconnect it, level the car, then adjust and re-connect it with the car "neutral". In my experience, a pre-loaded bar is most likely to float side-to-side.

I've never had this happen on a car that was propperly corner-weighted and the bars installed neutrally, but I am not trying to point fingers at anyone.

I have about 45,000 miles on mine and there is a couple of tiny chips on the paint. I have never heard any noise over the years. Like Dave said set neutral. Also make sure it can rotate freely but snug by placing some washers as spacers if needed.

I will make sure and have the swaybar neutral and adjust end links appropriately. Thanks .
