Default Got my SA2005 helmet

great service from Howard over at Racer Wholesale. Nice price, and quick delivery.

My SA95 was only 5 years old, must have just missed the 00's. Hated to replace a perfectly good helmet, but I think I'm going to like the new one. I got the Voyager Sidepro.

I was at Simpson World in Mooresville the other day and they have still have a store full of '00's. I guess they'll slash the prices on those in the near future just to make room for the '05's.

BTW, they had some $109 shoes on sale for $50. I bought 3 pairs.

The sidewinder and sidepro have air ducting built in. It is hard to see in the photo. It sort-of has a sculped top also, which my "old" Voyager doesn't have.

here's a better shot of my new Voyager sidepro vs my old (circa 2000) Super Voyager. Notice the smooth top on the old one, vs the bumps on the new one. The new helmet is much softer inside (and smells better too)

I'm sure the contours are for aerodynamics, but I can't help
thinking that the nice new fragrance might have a vanilla scent.
