Default 6 pt harness purchase

Anything special I need to know about buying a 6 point harness. I am still up in the air if I am installing a roll cage or for this yearjsut use the harness bar.

I am 6'1 240lbs so will that have an affect on the brand I pick?

Also I know they have dates, but are the dates from the time of purchase or is it like a helmet that expires no matter what the purchase date is.

I originally ordered pull-up lap belts but found that the buckle came directly between the side of the (stock) seat and the door. Pull-downs are a little harder to get as snug as I'd like, but now the door shuts.

Nothing about your size will come into play on the purchase...lots of good manufacturers...I run M and R Safety Gear in the race car...When they get to the point where I can't get them recertified I'll go with Schroth for compatibility with my Hans device...

If you are going to be using stock seats get one with an sternum strap.

Especially the kind you can sit on. I think Team Tech calls their model the Jet Fighter. Whatever it is, Gary at Hardbar sells it.
