I sure could use a couple set of tires for give-aways at Sanford, hint; hint.
Mike
I got your hint,hint! Give me a little time to get my foot in the door and we will see what I can do. My boss is Rudy Consolacion, a great guy that worked with Taube at Goodyear back in the days. He is now in charge of Kumho Motorsports division and myself being his right hand man along with many other tasks. I will make sure I get some good photos of the C6R while at Lemans since my pass is good for anywhere. I will post them here when I return. We are sponsoring one of the events at convention this year and I am going to see if my boss wants to go and drive my car with me as a trade off for Work.
Aaron wants a set of those gooey KUMHO slicks that they have on the red number 10, Courage..
Racerboy....Rudy won't let you near them..probably won't fit the red car anyway.
Damn shame he has to go to France, probably this will have him driving from the wrong side of the car. Anyone want to take his place?
Pete,
Those ALMS tires will fit on the old C4 and my rim offset. I already checked. Now I just have to talk my boss into trying some scuffs if and when we get some. Those would be really awsome, but if not he will have to look at a GOODYEAR sticker on the vette instead of a KUMHO sticker. Maybe I can persuade him.
I will be working right next to him in France for the Lemans race, so I will make sure he is driving on the right side of the road.
I heard that Johnny's 427 didn't run too well at the rock.
From what I read, he only had the two overall FTDs.
engine ran fine ,,,had all 8 overalls by my sheet...
only problem i had was traction,,lost it going into one on the 6th event,,luck was with me and didn't hit anything..
i don't have an oval track car ,and i'm no super driver,,so i'll take what i get!!
I thought you had all the events also Johnny, and for the traction that weekend I thought you did very well also, I remember losing it somewhere and you had to pull my butt out of the sand, I had a hard time with traction in the green car also.

we all did some dirt tracking!!! the track wasn't holding like last year for sure ,,consider that aaron went 101 on it make your laps and mine seem slow,,but that was last year conditions and we ain't near as fearless as the racerboy!! {i mean that in the kindest way }}

Thanks guys! Johnny, I would have SH*T my self spinning in turn one, that had to be scary.
