Default Drivers Wanted

Have you ever wanted to participate at a well run, heart pumping track event but found the logistics of long distance events daunting? Maybe you just don't want to flog your car on the track. Rejoice! Viper Days, in partnership with GP Motorsports, is offering an "Arrive and Drive" program. In this program you can reserve a Viper GTS, Corvette Z06, or Dodge Neon for any 2002 Viper Days Event (Schedule attached below). The cost for a Viper GTS is $3295 for 2 days and $3995 for a 3 day event, for a Z06 is $2995 for 2 days and $3595 for 3 days, and for a Dodge Neon $2395 for 2 days and $2895 for 3 days. This price does not include the event registration fee. Our research reveals that once all expenses are considered (transport, brake pads, tires, fluids, rotors, etc.) It would cost approximately $4000 for individuals to use their own Viper or Corvette in an event over 700 miles away. This does not include wear and tear on your car. We are taking reservations now at 480-348-0718.
Please call or e-mail trglenn@extremezone.com if you have any interest or preference of vehicle for next year so we can assess how many vehicles we need.

Heck, it doesn't even cost me an 8th of that to run my car for the weekend on the track.

I don't mean to be a spoil sport, but heck, for that kind of money, spend three days at Bragg-Smith and learn something in the process. Actually, for less than that kind of money!

Besides, driving my own car (setup the way I like) is half the fun!

Anyone looking for thrills in their own car (for $225 per weekend) contact TCRA at:

Hi Mike,

You're absolutely correct. Driving your own car on a local track can be considerably less expensive. But, if you want to try your hand at Sebring the costs start to climb. We have a number of Viper Days participants from both coasts who would like to run the 'other' half of the series but don't want to deal with the costs and logistics of transporting their cars, tools, spares etc. For less experienced drivers classroom and in car instruction is included. We're even getting interest from Viper owners in the UK. Since the Viper Days rules changed last year to include the Z06 we decided to include Corvettes in our stable (also, because I drive one). We'll be at Spring Mountain in Pahrump with our blue GTS this comming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the last event before the finals in Tulsa. If you're up for a road trip you're welcome to come by.

Harry

Ahhhh.... Spring Mtn. is a great track.

I would, but I'm running Fontana the next weekend and I'm still not done preping the car.

Have fun!
