I too, had no idea the inner edge of the rim pushed within the tire
carcass as far as it does during cornering as shown in the video.
As a spectator, I usually only see the outer face and with the negative
camber, it isn't nearly into the tire as the inner edge is shown here to be.

WOW! Great video.
Kinda stiff suspension, that's for sure. Amazing how many times the tire is only partially on the track or actually off the track.

Now you know what started the trend in larger diameter rims.
Then the blingers took their twist on it.
Engineers can learn a lot from those cams. I remember watching a race and it showed the spring twisting in it's perch. They asked the engineers why it did it that. They're reply was that it wasn't suppose too. They had it fixed the next race
